| The goal of this tutorial is to equip the user with an understanding of the Putamen landmarking using CAWorks. It should be noted that the CAWorks interface facilitates our developed putamen protocol. | ||
| Getting Started | The first step in our landmarking procedure is to view the MRI scan in CAWorks. more information | |
| Locate and Label the Head | After locating the head of the putamen, place the cursor at the head and type "h." more information head verification | |
| Locate and Label the Tail | After locating the tail of the putamen, place the cursor at the tail and type "t." more information tail verification | |
| Enter oblique mode | Select putamen as the "Landmark Type" and then toggle the "Oblique Mode" button. more information | |
| Oblique Landmarks | Place the superior, lateral, inferior, and medial landmarks on slices 1-9. Use "a" to add the landmarks on the first slice. On subsequent slices, use "m" to move the propagated landmarks. more information (examples of landmarking) additional tips and notes | |
| Save Landmarks | Click the "Save Landmarks to Disk" button and save the session. more information | |
