This tutorial is to show the user how to landmark amygdala using CAWorks. It should be noted that the CAWorks interface facilitates our developed amygdala protocol.

Getting Started The first step in our landmarking procedure is to view the MRI scan in CAWorks.

Locate and Label the Head After locating the head of amygdala, place the cursor at the head and type "h"

Locate and Label the Tail After locating the tail of the amygdala, place the cursor at the tail and type "t."

Enter oblique mode Select amygdala as the "Landmark Type" and then toggle the "Oblique Mode" button.

Oblique Landmarks Place 6 landmarks on each slice 0, 1, 2 respectively. Use "a" to add the landmarks on the first slice. On subsequent slices, use "m" to move the propagated landmarks.

Save Landmarks Click the "Save Landmarks to Disk" button and save the session.
