| Landmarking in the oblique section | ||

| Lmk No.2: Dorsal intermediate landmark | Place the landmark at the most medial point of the superior boundary of the amygdala. |

| Lmk No. 3: Dorsal lateral landmark | Place the landmark at the most lateral point of the superior boundary of the amygdala (usually near the bottom of the endorhinal sulcus) |

| Lmk No. 4: Ventral lateral landmark | Place the landmark at the most lateral point of the amygdala (usually where the superior lateral boundary meets the inferior lateral boundary, near the bottom of the temporal stem curve) |
|
| Lmk No. 5: Ventral intermediate landmark | Place the landmark at the most lateral point of the inferior boundary of the amygdala (above the white matter) |

| Lmk No. 6: Ventral medial landmark | Place the landmark at the most medial point of the inferior boundary of the amygdala. |

| Lmk No. 7: Dorsal medial landmark | Place the landmark at the middle point of the medial boundary of the amygdala, above the sulcus semiannularis |
